tips on buying an iPhone on eBay

if you can buy an iPhone on eBay? Yes of course you can. However, there are important things to consider if you want to buy an iPhone on eBay. With eBay always caveat emptor - buyer beware. This is true when you are looking to buy an iPhone on eBay. If you take steps to make sure that you know what you are buying, then you can get a deal that is really great on the iPhone. However, if you are not careful, then you will be disappointed and probably spend a lot of money. This is what you need to be aware of when buying an iPhone on eBay.

First, know what you are buying and if you are not sure ask the seller before you bid. Some things to watch out for is conflicting information between the title and the description is extended. For example, there is a list to open a 16 GB iPhone. That is what the title. In the description stated very clearly that the phone is locked but then went on to say that they use it with T-Mobile, so clearly opened. The best way to resolve problems like this is to send an email the seller and ask for clarification. Save this email and the response you get so if you are the winning bidder you ask for help if the iPhone is not as described.

Know the difference between open and locked. Unlocked means that the firmware has been hacked and now you can enter the chip that will work on ST & T or T-Mobile network. If you use the T-Mobile you will lose visual voicemail, which is an exclusive feature of AT & T. In the US the iPhone will work only on the mobile phone network AT & T and T-Mobile. It has nothing to do with the chip and everything to do with the cable. The iPhone will only work on radio frequencies that AT & T and T-Mobile provide. The term "locked" and "new, unopened box" are not compatible. You have to open the box and hack into the firmware to unlock the iPhone. Apple does not ship the iPhone is locked. In order to get back to the iPhone you have to open the box, and connect the iPhone to the computer. It is not yet opened. Locked means that the firmware that Apple shipped the phone with intact and untouched. This phone will only activate and work on AT & T, however, unlocked phones do not have a problem or a problem with the firmware upgrade while the phone is locked to be careful when updating to ensure they do not lock the iPhone.

Another thing to look out for when buying an iPhone on eBay is to determine whether the refurbished phones, new, or used. A refurbished iPhone is one that Apple (hopefully) have taken on does not work well for the new state like. This is a great way to get a cheap iPhone. However, ethical seller will clearly state that this is a refurbished item. Les conscientious seller did not disclose this. If unsure, ask. New and used that quite clear.

Be alert to the fact that there is a phone that is similar in appearance to the iPhone, but they are not the iPhone. On eBay, you will see the mobile phone called A88, iPhone, PDA, mobile phone ... It's not the Apple iPhone, iPhone they look the same. Make sure that the manufacturer of any iPhone that you buy is Apple and not CECT.

Finally, make sure that you are aware of sellers return policy and only pay through PayPal using a credit card or pay directly with a credit card. Never pay with cash, check, Western Union, wire transfer or money order. This way if you sell counterfeit goods, you ask for help through the credit card company or PayPal. Buyers who do not take credit cards or PayPal questionable so once again remember caveat emptor, buyer beware.

eBay tries to make them a safe place to buy goods. Educated consumers stand the best chance to get a good deal. Before you buy an iPhone on eBay do a little research to make sure you get what you are looking for.
so the tips that I can say may be useful.,.,.
